Group Product Manager, Payments - New York

The area: Product Management

With eyes focused squarely on the future, our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring our solutions to all the markets where Google does business.

The role: Group Product Manager, Payments

As Group Product Manager, Payments, you should be a flexible, results-oriented, and experienced leader who will be responsible for developing and implementing Google's P2P product strategy. You will have visionary product insight, significant technical expertise and extensive leadership and business skills. This role combines a great instinct for developing compelling products with a strong focus on users and the technical aptitude to work with a world class engineering team. You will be able to both strategize with senior leaders on new product ideas and features and work across the team with other product managers, developers and designers to build out our existing products.

You will be self-motivated and able to act with a high level of independence. You will have experience working with financial institutions globally, having built end user products for money transmission, having analyzed and created new product initiatives and grown it to a large active user base. You will have a strong understanding of financial institutions and money transmission.
